
This is such an easy Indian dish to do at home and so much nicer.
1 chicken
juice of 1 lemon
salt and pepper
300ml natural yoghurt
small piece root ginger, grated
1tbsp garam masala
Half red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
1tsp mild paprika peper
little butter or ghee
1 Remove all the chicken from the carcass and cut into bite size pieces. Place in a large bowl with the lemon juice, salt and yoghurt.
2 Mix the ginger, masala, chilli and paprika into the chicken thoroughly and leave to marinate for 1 hour.
3 When required drain the chicken from the marinade and cook in hot butter or ghee quickly until sealed. Reduce the heat and keep stirring gently until cooked through, then serve with wedges of lemon, rice and salad.
